New Boyle County Performing Arts Center

The new Boyle County Performing Arts Center was built to enhance the education of the students of Boyle County Schools. The 500-seat theater features a 2,600 square foot stage, a green room, men’s and women’s dressing rooms, and a scenery shop, all with direct access to the stage. The theater also includes a state-of-the-art lighting package and front-of-house booth, and a 60 foot high fly loft. From lighting, to sound, to building sets and flying scenery pieces, managing backstage, and singing, dancing, acting, and presenting, the Boyle County Performing Arts Center provides students the opportunity to learn every aspect of theater and performance.

Not only do the students of Boyle County Schools benefit from the BCPAC, but the surrounding community does as well. The BCPAC will be host many community events and performances, including two performances of Lexington Ballet’s the Nutcracker on December 3rd and 4th.
