Here’s the latest flyover footage of Creekside Elementary School in Scott County that was shared at last week’s board meeting. Opening August 2019!

Educational Alliance Center in Middlesboro Nearing Completion

The Educational Alliance Center for Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College-Middlesboro Campus is nearing completion!

In alliance with Eastern Kentucky University, this new facility will house both an aerospace technology program and nursing program.

The aerospace technology suite will have a lab for aviation flight simulators, unmanned aerial vehicle drone simulator stations and an aviation classroom. The nursing program will include three nursing classrooms, two nursing labs, and a simulator suite.

We can't wait to see the students of Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College in Middlesboro enjoy their new facility in the coming months!

Students Welcomed to New Advanced Manufacturing Labs at Somerset Community College

Somerset Community College students got their first look at the newly remodeled Advanced Manufacturing Technology labs. Part of KY FAME (Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education), the program 'is a partnership of regional manufacturers whose purpose is to implement dual-track, apprenticeship-style training that will create a pipeline of highly skilled workers. The primary method to achieve this goal is through partnerships with local educational institutions to offer the Advanced Manufacturing Technician Program (AMT).' (kyfame.com)
