Driving the Future: ACTC Opens New Transportation Education Center
We are proud to celebrate the completion of Ashland Community and Technical College’s new Transportation Education Center, a transformative facility designed by our ClotfelterSamokar to support hands-on learning and workforce development. Purpose-built to serve the region’s growing transportation and technical education needs, the new center provides modern, flexible spaces that enhance instruction, collaboration, and real-world training opportunities for students.
The project recently reached an exciting milestone with a special ribbon cutting ceremony, bringing together college leadership, faculty, students, and community partners, including Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear and Senior Advisor Rocky Adkins, to mark the opening of the facility. Seeing the building come to life and begin serving its educational mission is always the most rewarding part of the design process. We are honored to have partnered with KCTCS and Ashland Community and Technical College on this impactful project and look forward to the Transportation Education Center supporting student success for years to come.
