Phase III of the renovations at Madison Central High School consisted of the replacement of the existing athletic facilities, including a new synthetic turf football field, 8-lane track, 4,000 seat grandstands, visitor grandstands, concessions, restrooms, weight room, and other site amenities and infrastructure.  The existing deteriorated infrastructure was demolished and replaced in a 7-month schedule.  Football season began on time with an exciting overtime win over a rival opponent!

The entire site was master planned for the 600 student Glenn Marshall Elementary, as well as the 800 student Caudill Middle School. The two schools share parking and athletic fields, reducing costs for each facility.

The Athletic Complex was completed in two phases, with each phase being bid as part of its respective overall construction project.

Boyle County High School Sports Facility is the ultimate multi-use package.  The school was in need of a new football, soccer, and softball field, but had limited space to do it in.  Clotfelter-Samokar designed a synthetic turf, multi-use sports facility to combine all three sports onto one field.  The football and soccer field were centered on the existing grandstands and were also able to utilize the existing sports lighting.  The softball field was incorporated behind one end zone and included a removable backstop system.  Clotfelter-Samokar worked with the owner to design a center field logo to fit with the classic style of their new field.
