The Elizabethtown Community & Technical College Regional Postsecondary Education Center Phase II is designed as a connector for the campus. It will unify the buildings and provide an entry piece upon arrival. Adjoining the other two campus buildings, the new facility incorporates a 33 foot elevation drop. Considered the campus “centerpiece”, this new facility complements the existing architecture while at the same time keeps its own identity. The design provides a large central atrium space as the entry focal point and provides natural light to interior spaces. It will also serve as a gathering spot for the thousands of students who will occupy the building during class registration. The Regional Postsecondary Education Center also contains space for all new Student Affairs including admissions, financial aid and student records. Also incorporated into this new connector; a new office suite for the college president, educational programming and spaces for the Allied Health Department (both classrooms and labs), standard classrooms and a 300+ capacity, tiered classroom/auditorium and an ITV classroom.
